Wellbeing Event for Pharmacy Staff

Join Us on the 21st January 2025 for a Wellbeing and Resilience Event in North Devon

In collaboration with Talkworks, we’re hosting a special event in North Devon designed to equip you with practical tools to support not only your own wellbeing, but also the wellbeing of those around you. Whether it’s a colleague you interact with daily, someone you cross paths with occasionally, or even recognising your own needs, this event offers a valuable opportunity for reflection and growth.

What to Expect:

  • A session focused on wellbeing and resilience, providing strategies to help you and those around you thrive.
  • Guidance on how to approach conversations if you notice a colleague or team member is struggling.
  • A Q&A session where you can ask questions and gain insights tailored to your needs.

If you’d prefer not to ask questions during the event, feel free to send them in advance. We’ll anonymise your queries and ensure they’re addressed by the facilitators, so you get the information you need.

This event is all about prioritizing your own wellbeing—putting on your oxygen mask first—so you can better support others.

MP Engagement

We at Community Pharmacy Devon are continuing to work with the Devon MPs to increase awareness of the continued funding crisis in community pharmacy. After the recent meeting we held in London with some of the MPs there has been renewed interest in pharmacy and requests for questions that can be raised in parliament on our behalf.  A number of the MPs have also expressed interest in visiting a pharmacy in their constituency to hear first hand of the issues. If you're interested in hosting a MP visit supported by our team, please contact Sascha at sascha@cpdevon.org.uk.

Pharmacy First Myth Busting

The Community Pharmacy England Services Team is working to address misconceptions around the Pharmacy First service. Their myth busting series answers common queries to help increase understanding of the service, read the latest article here.
