Community Pharmacy England Presents the New CPCF Arrangements

Funding and other arrangements for community pharmacies for 2024/25 and 2025/26 have been finalised, with community pharmacy receiving the largest uplift in funding across the whole of the NHS.

A recorded on-demand version of the presentation is now available here.

Note all the resources to do with the CPCF for 2024/25 and 2025/26 have now been consolidated into a single page on the CPE website, for ease of finding content. See: https://cpe.org.uk/cpcf

Over 1000 people registered for the webinars and this meant that answers to all the individual questions was not possible, however they have been reviewed and put together various FAQs on the most common topics, see:

·       General funding FAQs
·       Summary of regulatory changes
·       Core opening hours information
·       NMS regulatory FAQs
·       DSP regulatory FAQs
·       Changes to NMS fees

Bowel Cancer Screening Awareness Campaign South West 2025

Bowel cancer is the UK’s fourth most common cancer but if diagnosed at the earliest stages, bowel cancer is treatable and curable. For cancer screening to be effective, it is important that uptake is high. There is currently a bowel cancer screening awareness campaign running in the Southwest.

The bowel cancer screening awareness campaign aims to raise awareness that the eligible age has reduced from 60 to 50 years old. The campaign commenced on 17 March 2025 and will run through to the end of April 2025 to align with Bowel Cancer Awareness Month (April 2025).
