Public Health Plymouth Pharmacy Fees 2025-26 - For Plymouth Pharmacies

Following consultation and negotiations with Community Pharmacy Devon, we are pleased to report that we are uplifting the fees Public Health Plymouth pay for services undertaken under the Pharmacy Locally Enhanced Services Contract by 5.7% as per the table below.

The changes will apply for all claims from Q1 2025-26 onwards, i.e. from April 1st 2025.

We will update PharmOutcomes with these changes.

Please note these changes only apply to Plymouth pharmacies currently.

A message from Rachel Fergie – Chair of Community Pharmacy Devon

As we move into the warmer months, I wanted to just send a message to say the secretariat team are available in the office should you require any support at all.

I really wanted to bring to your attention that with the recent burst pipe situation affecting both Plymouth and Torbay residents' water supplies, now would be a really good time to refresh and review your Business Continuity Plans. While you can't possibly detail every eventuality that may occur, it is good practice to have a plan in place that you can enact in the event of any issues.

The secretariat team have produced promotional material to help ensure that holiday makers to the area are aware of the services that you all offer and will be working hard over the coming weeks and months to highlight the changes to the national contract. Please ensure that Sue Taylor is marked as a safe sender to ensure that you receive the most accurate and up-to-date information via the weekly dose. This will always be sent to you on a Thursday.

Supply of Needle and Syringe Provision in Devon and Torbay

Community Pharmacies are encouraged to provided people who inject drugs with the number of kits they request. The service has no limit to the number of kits that the pharmacy is able to provide to any one client. Should excessive or extreme numbers of equipment be requested, it is appropriate to ask for clarity on the purpose of gathering excessive numbers of kits and encourage individuals to return equipment in the sharp’s bins issued as part of the single use kit provided.
