The latest edition of the deadline tracker is now available to view here on our website.

 

 Pharmacy Quality Scheme

A reminder that the 2025/26 scheme began on 1st April 2025 and has a declaration period between 9am on 2nd February 2026 and 11.59pm on 27th February 2026. Pharmacy owners must have evidence to demonstrate meeting the domains that they have claimed for by the end of 31st March 2026. There is funding available and pharmacy owners will be able to claim an Aspiration payment if they wish to between 9am on 1st May 2025 and 11.59pm on 16th May 2025.

 

 New Virtual Outcomes Courses

Virtualoutcomes has launched three new courses:
  • Pharmacy Contact 2025
  • PQS Part 1
  • PQS Part 2
Virtualoutcomes courses are free to all members of pharmacy teams.
 
These courses are designed to give an overview of the key elements and the work the pharmacies need to complete to maximise each.
Coming soon will be courses on EHC (once the service specificatioon is published) and Hypertension hints and tips to support pharmacies to achieve the ABPM targets.

 Hepatitis Healthcare Worker Survey

The Hepatitis section at UKHSA is inviting healthcare workers to participate in the following survey regarding knowledge and attitudes towards people living with viral hepatitis. They are conducting this research as part of their efforts to understand barriers to healthcare for people living with Hepatitis B and C in England. Anyone who is working or studying in a healthcare role in England is eligible to participate, and the survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. Answers will be anonymised and maybe shared in reports, peer-reviewed publications, and/or presentations. UKHSA will not require any personal identifying information as part of this survery. Ethical approval has been granted by UKHSA’s Research Ethics and Governance Group.

 The Independent Pharmacy Awards (IPA)

We’re excited to hear the news that The Independent Pharmacy Awards (IPA) team has announced the opening of entries for their 2025 awards, inviting all independent contractors to participate in this celebration of their vital work. The awards ceremony will be a prestigious luncheon held at The House of Commons on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025.

 

Finalists will be special guests at this event, joining leading figures from politics, community pharmacy, the pharmaceutical supply chain, and the wider NHS. The IPA aims to highlight the inspirational contributions of independent pharmacy teams throughout the UK, providing a powerful platform to demonstrate the crucial role pharmacies play in their local communities directly to the government.

 
The deadline for submitting entries is July 15th, 2025.
