Community Pharmacy Devon 2025 Awards 🏆 |
|
Community Pharmacy Devon wants to recognise the outstanding work and achievements of our pharmacy contractors and teams working tirelessly across the county in a very challenging environment. To help us say thank you to you all we are re-launching our Pharmacy Awards for 2025. There are five categories for which pharmacists, technicians, and any member of the pharmacy teams can self-nominate or nominate a colleague or team.
The categories are:
🌟 Community Pharmacy of the year
🌟 Community Pharmacist of the year
🌟 Community Pharmacy Team Member of the Year
🌟 Community Pharmacy Integration
🌟 Gold Star
Closing date is 16th August 2025. The awards ceremony will be held at the inaugural Community Pharmacy Devon conference which is being held on Sunday the 14th September 2025 at the Exeter Racecourse.

Business Continuity Planning |

Have you signed up for priority access to utilities? Community pharmacy contractors confirm each year that business continuity arrangements are in place via their Data Security and Protection toolkit declarations. You can now sign up for the Priority Services Register to boost your business continuity arrangements further. Inclusion on this register should mean your pharmacy has priority access to electricity, water and gas supplies. You can learn more here. |

HANDi Paediatric App: Advice for Common Childhood Conditions |
|
The HANDi Paediatric app gives up-to-date advice about common childhood illnesses and how to treat them. Developed by NHS organisations in Devon, the HANDi Paediatric app is available to download for free onto any Apple or Android smartphone or tablet.
The app has been developed by paediatric consultants and provides expert support to parents/carers and medical professionals looking after children with the most common childhood health care conditions: Diarrhoea and vomiting, Chesty child - asthma & wheeze, Chesty baby - bronchiolitis, High temperature, Abdominal pain, newborn problems.

Help Steer Pharmacy’s Future: Community Pharmacy England Workshop |

Senior figures from Community Pharmacy England are heading to Stoke Gifford, near Bristol, on the evening of Tuesday 22nd July to discuss pressing issues and plans for the future with local pharmacy owners (or their representatives).
The ‘Future of Pharmacy’ workshop will explore the impact of the recent CPCF deal, ongoing issues you face, and possible tactics to try and win over policymakers. This is a great opportunity to get involved in preparations for the 2026/27 CPCF negotiations and work with the negotiators to map out a clearer way forward for the sector.
