Exciting Opportunity!
 
Funded places are now available for the RSPH Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement – Health Champion Course. This is a brilliant chance to upskill your team and boost your impact on community health.

This course is open to all team members, with no restrictions.
Reminder: NHS Healthy Living Pharmacy requirements mean at least one full-time equivalent patient-facing team member must complete this training to meet service compliance.

Mental Health NMS Update Event

Providing the New Medicines Service and want a clinical update (and fantastic CPD) for the new, expanded ‘depression’ arm of the service? Then look no further than our Mental Health NMS Update event in Exeter on 18th November.

 

This will be an event covering contractual service updates, a whistle-stop mental health update (tailored to community pharmacy teams from a local secondary care mental health expert) and case discussion of real-world scenarios that could happen in your pharmacy. CPPE Events - Weight Management and Pharmacy Technician Programme

Weight Management - Prescribing Perspectives
The aim of this programme is to develop your knowledge and skills to adopt a structured approach to safely provide weight management medicines, whether the mechanism of supply is prescribing or under a patient group direction. Pharmacy Technician Development Programme

This programme brings together the Community pharmacy technician: advancing your role and the Pharmacy technician: enhancing your professional practice programmes, which have been redeveloped to meet the needs of all pharmacy technicians.

 

This fully funded course, with education supervisor support from CPPE, helps pharmacy technicians develop their skills and confidence to deliver effective services in pharmacy practice. This is designed to help support Pharmacy Technicians in all sectors of Pharmacy. Register here.

 

Pharmacy Quality Scheme 2025/26: Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Audit – Sore Throat Consultations

Calling community pharmacies participating in the 2025/26 Pharmacy Quality Scheme - the Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Audit for sore throat consultations is now open.
