NHS BSA Online Training Session - Open to all Pharmacy Staff!

⭐ Join the NHS BSA for an Overview of NHS Prescription Services where they will fully explain what happens to your prescriptions once they have left you and how accounts are received and prepared for the scanning process. They will also explain prescription processing and include some important hints and tips on endorsing, fee claiming, wrong group movements and referred backs.

πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have to the Head of Pharmaceutical Services and Business Engagement Lead who will be hosting.

Information Relating to the Meningococcal Outbreak in Kent

We know pharmacy teams across the country are being asked questions by patients about the outbreak of meningococcal disease in parts of Kent. NHS England has issued further information and guidance on this in a letter being cascaded today.

Should there be further local information required, ICBs and Local Pharmaceutical Committees (LPCs) will share updates via local communication channels

Ketamine Use & Harm Reduction: A Webinar for Frontline Healthcare Professionals 

With ketamine use rising among younger populations, pharmacy teams are increasingly likely to see the clinical consequences. To support frontline intervention, health charity Turning Point is running a webinar to help recognise the signs associated with chronic use.

The session, scheduled for 1pm on Wednesday 25th March, will provide pharmacy owners and staff with straightforward harm reduction strategies and the clinical knowledge required to encourage timely engagement with drug and alcohol services. Register here.

FP34C and Prescription Bundle Deadlines EXTENDED over Easter

FP34C: Submit by 6th April– With the Good Friday (3rd April) bank holiday occurring in the first five days of April 2026, pharmacy owners will be afforded an extra day (until 6th April), to submit their FP34C declaration using the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal.

FP10 Prescription Bundle: Submit by 7th April β€“ In recognition of the busy Easter period, FP10 prescription bundles dispatched to the NHSBSA no later than 7th April will be accepted.
