Mental Health Awareness Week: Let’s Take Action Together
Tuesday 12th May 2026
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and this year’s theme — “Take Action” — feels especially relevant for pharmacy.
Details of the Pharmacist Support accompanying campaign are available on their website. Talking about mental health is important, however, real change happens when we take small, practical steps. That might look like checking in with a colleague, reaching out for support when you need it, or making changes that help create healthier workplaces.
From the work of Pharmacist Support and research, it is well documented just how much pressure many people in pharmacy are under. Growing workloads and evolving roles can really take their toll — which is why having the right tools, support and conversations in place matters more than ever.
Throughout the week, Pharmacist Support will be sharing practical resources to help you take action in a way that works for you. This includes a blog on workplace wellbeing and leadership, information about our wellbeing workshops, the launch of their new Wellbeing Tracker, a new episode of the A Dose of Wellbeing podcast, and helpful insights from their partners at Orion Pharma UK.
Whether you’re focused on your own wellbeing or supporting your team, we hope you’ll find something useful. Follow along on the social channels for daily tips and ideas — and remember, you don’t have to face challenging times alone. Support is always available.
