Patient abuse and other challenges: Share your views

Community Pharmacy England needs local pharmacy owners to help measure the extent to which you and your teams encounter abuse from patients.
Abuse and aggression from frustrated members of the public is piling onto the heavy workload and other pressures that pharmacy teams face, as was raised at the recent Conference of LPC Representatives. A new opinion poll is a simple way of sharing your experiences of patient abuse, as well as highlighting the other challenges you are facing.
The short survey allows pharmacy owners to input directly into the first Community Pharmacy England Committee meeting of 2026, where they will be discussing the latest on 2026/27 CPCF negotiations and other important issues. The poll results will also contribute to ongoing efforts to push for further improvements and support for community pharmacies.
We at Community Pharmacy Devon hope that local pharmacy owners submit their views to feed directly into the national negotiator’s work.
The ten-minute survey, which is open until 11.59pm on Thursday 22nd January, can be completed here:
Please note, this survey link is for independent and non-CCA multiples only, as CCA multiples have been asked to respond via their head offices.
