Book Now! Pharmacy First Training: Face-to-Face Workshops
Community Pharmacy Devon has worked with our neighbours in Cornwall and Somerset to bring in some further opportunities for our community pharmacists to access face-to-face training sessions to develop your practical expertise in ear and throat assessments. Experienced trainers will guide you through the proper use of the otoscope and teach you the nuances of conducting a thorough throat assessment.
Training sessions take place on the following dates and locations:
4th February 2024 Cornwall Penventon Hotel in Redruth
11th February 2024 Somerset The Shrubbery Hotel Station Road, Ilminster TA19 9AR ·
25th February 2024 Devon The Copthorne Hotel, Armada Way, Plymouth PL1 1AR
Training will be provided through ECG Clinical Services and there will also be an engaging e-learning module to complete.
We have booked three days of workshops at a location in each County. Each workshop lasts for 1.45 hours; there will be four workshops repeated during the day; you will only need to attend one workshop. Any community pharmacist employed or locum who works in Devon, Cornwall or Somerset will be able to attend at any of the listed venues and it is FREE!
