COVID-19 and Adult Influenza Vaccination Service 2026-27
A new joint service specification for the 2026/27 COVID-19 and adult flu vaccination programme has been published.
Key updates:
- COVID-19 and adult flu vaccination fees have increased.
- The additional £10 payment for vaccinating housebound COVID-19 patients has been removed.
- Use of the National Booking Service is now mandatory for COVID-19 vaccinations but remains optional for flu vaccinations.
- Pharmacies must register to provide either service in 2026/27.
- Pharmacies can choose to provide both COVID-19 and adult flu vaccinations, or adult flu vaccinations only.
Updated fees:
- Adult flu vaccination: £10.06 per vaccination (up from £9.58).
- COVID-19 vaccination: £8.70 per vaccination during the flu campaign and £10.06 outside the flu campaign period.
